Practical support for daily operations

Leaning

Lifting
The LiftSuit reduces the physical load on the lower back and hips during physical work. It supports workers when they lean forward, bend down, or repeatedly lift objects, helping to reduce muscle effort and delay fatigue. As a wearable exoskeleton, it is a versatile tool to provide flexible, location-independent support.
Freedom of movement
Low-profile, flexible design that follows natural movement during manual work.
Quick to fit
Simple adjustments help users get a secure, consistent fit in minutes.
Adjust support to the task
Activate or deactivate support as needed, and fine-tune the support level manually.
Easy care
Textile components are machine-washable and easy to maintain.

How the LiftSuit works
A fully passive textile system that stores and returns energy to support lifting and forward bending. No batteries, no motors.

Artificial muscles
Leaning forward puts a lot of strain on the back muscles. When using the LiftSuit, elastic elements along the back and hips acting as a second layer of muscles provide supporting forces that reduce the load on the user's muscles.

Energy recuperation
During lifting, the user looses energy in every repetition. The LiftSuit stores part of this energy and returns it to the user when straightening back up – making lifting activities more energy efficient and less exhausting.
Engineering & Validation
Built and evaluated for real working conditions. The engineering principles behind the LiftSuit and how they are validated in lab and field.

Textile & low-profile
Design for high flexibility and freedom of movement, it blends the design between high-tech exoskeleton and work clothes. Can be worn under or over workwear.

Passive by design
A support concept inspired by human anatomy, using energy storage and return to reduce muscle effort resulting in a rugged and low maintenance system.

Lab & field validation
Validated through lab measurements and field evaluations in real work environments together with industry partners make sure it offers the performance workers need.

Applications & Industries
The LiftSuit is a good fit for manual tasks that involve repeated handling, lifting from low heights, and prolonged forward-leaning postures. Examples include:

Logistics
Picking, palletizing, loading and unloading boxes, working in racks during full shifts

Construction
Laying tiles, floor work, or other jobs that require kneeling or leaning forward for extended periods

Manufacturing
Repetitive lifting of components, feeding machines, line-side material handling, and work at benches that require leaning forward

Agriculture
Field work, harvesting, and sorting tasks that involve continuous forward-leaning and handling of loads

How to get started
1
Assess
We review your tasks and work environment to confirm fit and define success criteria. You receive a practical recommendation for target tasks, user groups, and set up.
2
Pilot
We run a time-boxed pilot with a small group in daily work and collect structured feedback and observations. Based on the results, we fine-tune fit, support settings, and the rollout approach.
3
Rollout & Training
After the pilot, we support user and supervisor training and help integrate the LiftSuit into your standard operating procedures. This ensures consistent use and a smooth scale-up across teams.
